Sandager N\u00e6s Camping. In addition to a number of grocery stores such as Netto, Rema1000 and Super Brugsen, you&#8217;ll also find a shopping street with lots of charm and idyllic atmosphere.   <\/p><p>Here you can explore colonial delights at one of the city&#8217;s many restaurants or enjoy an old-fashioned ice cream cone in the garden. Assens has a size that makes it easy to get around, and parking is free in most places. <\/p><p>In the summer, the city is particularly lively due to the many tourists, but also because major events are regularly held both in the harbor area and in the rest of the city.<\/p><p>Assens also has a cinema and a great music venue called Tobaksgaarden. for the little ones, gaming machines, pool tables, etc. located just a 10-minute drive from the campsite.<\/p><p>It&#8217;s perfect if the Danish summer weather is a bit of a drag, or if you want to eat out in the city with the whole family in mind. In the center there is a restaurant where you can enjoy the large buffet at very reasonable prices. The old railway line has now been transformed into a cozy 11 km experience route where you can enjoy nature at your own pace. <\/p><p>The rail bikes are easy to use and can accommodate 3-4 people and some luggage. Two people pedal while the others can sit back and enjoy the views of open fields, small forest trails and idyllic landscapes. Along the route you&#8217;ll find rest stops where you can take a break, enjoy a packed lunch or just relax.  <\/p><p>You can start your trip from both Tommerup and Glamsbjerg, but remember to return the bike to the same place you picked it up.
